Over the last few years I have been learning more crafty bits and pieces and have decided to take the plunge, create an etsy shop, LauraCatherineCrafts, and, hopefully, find other people that share my interests.
I am an avid reader of other craft blogs and have decided that now is the time to share what I have learnt from others and stumbled across by happy accident. For my first post I decided to share a few photos of recent jewellery projects, the next post will expand into card making and perhaps a bit of stitching, who knows.
This is a somewhat eclectic mix using several techniques including wire wrapping and weaving, the materials range from gem stones, such as turquoise and red agate, to acrylic beads. I like the range of textures that can be achieved by mixing materials, but also keep pieces much more simple when appropriate.
